Summary
Adds a setup and troubleshooting page for Sony Head Tracker, an external open-source Windows and macOS application that sends orientation data from compatible Sony headphones and earbuds to opentrack through the UDP over network input.
Why this belongs in the wiki
Sony Head Tracker gives users who already own compatible Sony headphones another head-tracking option. It sends yaw, pitch, and roll through opentrack's existing UDP input and does not require changes to opentrack itself.
The application remains separate because Windows may require an elevated device-repair operation to expose or correctly bind the headset's head-tracker sensor. Normal tracking data is then sent locally to opentrack over UDP port 4242.
Page contents
I maintain Sony Head Tracker and would be happy to keep this page updated as compatibility and setup instructions change.
