fix: rewrite the JSON operators DuckDB lacks on tiered and decoupled reads - #129
Reads of a tiered or decoupled view that DuckDB runs accept #>, #>>, ?, ?|, ?&, @> and <@, and the functions behind them, each rewritten into DuckDB's JSON functions with PostgreSQL's answer. A path, key or document can be a constant or a bound parameter (a prepared statement's $1, a plpgsql variable). ColdFront plans a read with such a parameter from its value on every execution. @> and <@ don't match an integer against the same value written as a decimal, which the docs state. Fixes#124.
Cold and cross-tier reads now rewrite supported JSON operators for DuckDB. Bound operands are folded during planner processing before deferred rewrites. Regression tests cover operator behavior, prepared statements, and tiered-read scenarios.
The planner detects deferred JSON operations, folds bound values, and then rewrites the expressions. Tests exercise prepared queries and cold reads with bound paths, keys, and documents.
Documented behavior and constraints docs/architecture_guides/index.md, docs/caveats.md, docs/changelog.md, docs/supported_types.md
The documentation lists supported rewrites, operand requirements, planning behavior, result differences, and limitations for cold or cross-tier reads.
No actionable merge-blocking issue is established for this change; it is ready for normal checks.

Explanation
[#124] Requires two outcomes: data #> '{a,0}' returns 1, and (data::jsonb) ? 'k' returns the matching row on a view that exposes json. The regression test extension/coldfront/test/sql/read_json_operators.sql covers both repro statements. Section (A) runs data #> '{a,0}' and (data::jsonb) ? 'k' under duckdb.force_execution on the public.docs view, which casts jsonb to json, as the tiered view does. Section (C) covers ?, ?| and ?& on the same view. The json ? text failure in the issue is addressed by the parse-time rewrite and by the json-to-jsonb SQL stand-ins coldfront._jsonb_exists, coldfront._jsonb_exists_any, coldfront._jsonb_exists_all and coldfront._jsonb_contains in coldfront--1.0.sql. The PR also covers #>>, @>, <@ and the function spellings, which the PR description requires. The test expected-output file (.out) was not inspected, so the exact returned values are not independently confirmed. The rewrite code in coldfront.c was not read line by line; its behavior is taken from the change summary and the test coverage.
Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
The changes match the current PR description and #124. The rewritten operators (#>, #>>, ?, ?|, ?&, @>, <@) and their functions are named in the description. Bound-parameter handling (planner-time deferral, JsonBuilderCtx.defer, parameter folding) supports the description's bound-parameter and per-execution planning claims. The eight-element path limit, the json-to-jsonb SQL stand-ins, the MakefileREGRESS entry, and the documentation and changelog updates support the same rewrite. The ci/journey.sh additions cover the same operators on the cold tier. No unrelated change was demonstrated. The coldfront.c diff (+365/-21) was not read line by line, so unrelated changes inside that file cannot be excluded from direct reading alone; the change summary describes only JSON-rewrite work.

Explanation
Docstring coverage is 83.33% which is sufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 12 functions across 1 files. explanation that ColdFront rewrites unsupported JSON operators, but remove the
repeated operator list and `data::jsonb` cast rule. Link to Supported Column
Types for those details and preserve the Iceberg storage note.

ambiguous path elements that create CoalesceExpr alternatives; raise
ERRCODE_PROGRAM_LIMIT_EXCEEDED when the limit is exceeded, before further
expression-tree growth. Ensure ordinary path elements do not count toward the
