Issue
Closes #13
Refs #11
Summary
The first full-release preparation reached the hosted Documentation check, where short completion-gate tests failed while removing temporary Git repositories (
Directory not empty). Git can detach automatic maintenance after a successful commit, allowing background writes to race TemporaryDirectory cleanup. Disable automatic maintenance and automatic GC only in disposable fixture repositories, before their first add/commit. Keep cleanup errors visible and avoid deletion retries.Testing
The 14 existing release automation regressions passed locally with CGO_ENABLED=0. Hosted Linux checks are required before merge to confirm the observed cleanup failure is fixed.
Risks and compatibility
Only test fixture Git configuration changes. Production repository maintenance, Go modules, publication gates, and release plans are unchanged. No tags or Releases have been created. After merging this fix, regenerate the full-release preparation against the new main source so its frozen notes and first-parent identity remain valid.
