Follow these simple steps to install and run MCP OpenFoodTox on your computer.
Before you begin, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

To download MCP OpenFoodTox, visit the Releases page:
- Click on the link above to go to our Releases page.
- Locate the latest version of the application.

- Once the download is complete, locate the file in your downloads folder.
After downloading, follow these steps to install the application:
- Double-click the downloaded
.exefile. - Follow the prompts provided by the installation wizard.

- Open the downloaded
.dmgfile. - Drag the MCP OpenFoodTox icon to your Applications folder.

- Open a terminal window.
- Navigate to the directory where you downloaded the file using the
cdcommand. - Run the following command to make the installer executable:
chmod +x mcp-openfoodtox*.run - Then run the installer with:
./mcp-openfoodtox*.run - Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Once installed, you can start the MCP OpenFoodTox application.
- Windows: Click on the application icon in the Start menu or desktop.
- Mac: Open your Applications folder, then click on the MCP OpenFoodTox icon.
- Linux: Use your applications menu or terminal to launch the program.
On your first launch, the program may prompt you to download the latest dataset. Follow these instructions on-screen:
- Click "Download Now" to get the latest data.
- Wait for the download to complete. This may take a few minutes based on internet speed.
You are now ready to explore the dataset!
