The fix is ugly but I have not idea how to correctly handle the calling of python code in a multithreaded context because of the sys.excepthook problem (fixed in python3.8?).
Should work on addition/removal. The implementation is tricky and mixing QFileSystemWatcher to monitor directories and FileMonitor for "files".
