Write problem responses from the model they are documented with - #59
Problem responses were built by ApiProblemNormalizer from fields on ApiProblemException, while the documented schemas came from the separate ProblemDetails, ProblemDetailsInvalidRequestBody and Violation classes. The two drifted: titles differed between responses and documentation, OpenAPI violations lacked the documented propertyPath and code, and the documented maxItems was never enforced.
What changes
ApiProblemException wraps a ProblemDetails, and the response is written from its public properties, which are also what Nelmio documents. Extending ProblemDetails adds members to both the response and its schema.
Titles are the HTTP reason phrase of the status (Unauthorized, Not Found, Unprocessable Content, Internal Server Error).
The detail passed to ApiProblemException is sent outside debug mode as well; messages of other exceptions still only in debug mode.
OpenAPI violations name the invalid value (authors[0].name, a parameter, header or cookie name) and the failed JSON Schema keyword as code, without quoting header or cookie values.
Responses substitute invalid UTF-8 instead of falling back to a generic 500; an HttpException below 400 becomes a 500 problem.
ApiProblemException::fromStatus() and conflict(), and an UnprocessableEntityProblemDetailsResponse component.
The bundle no longer registers its normalizers with the application's serializer.
References to RFC 7807 point to RFC 9457.
A functional test compares every documented example with the response the bundle sends, and the real 400 and 422 responses are asserted field by field.
This breaks the ApiProblemException constructor and getters, the badRequest()/unprocessableEntity() signatures, and the model constructors; the changelog's Upgrading section covers each.

New Features
Added RFC 9457 problem responses with extensible response fields and structured validation details.
Added 409 conflict responses and clearer 400 request-validation and 422 command-validation responses.
Preserved response headers and improved handling of invalid UTF-8 in response values.
Bug Fixes
Exception messages are shown in problem details only in debug mode, except for explicitly supplied details.
Standardized fallback error titles and improved validation error descriptions.
Documentation
Updated migration guidance, validation examples, and OpenAPI response documentation for RFC 9457.
…nted with
ApiProblemException wraps a ProblemDetails, and the normalizer writes its public
properties, which are what Nelmio documents. Titles are the reason phrase of the
status, OpenAPI violations name the invalid value, and a test pins every
documented example to the response the bundle sends.
Problem responses substitute invalid UTF-8 instead of falling back to a generic
500. OpenAPI violations write paths as Symfony's validator does and keep the
header name, an operation missing from the document is a 500, and an HTTP
exception below 400 does not become a problem with that status. The documented
schema example is pinned to the response as well.
…values
A HEAD request to a GET endpoint and a request matching several operations are
client errors, so the 500 mapping is reverted. A header or cookie violation names
it in propertyPath rather than repeating League's message, which quotes the
value.
The pull request updates problem responses to RFC 9457. It changes problem models and exception mapping, updates response serialization and OpenAPI components, and adds validation coverage and migration guidance.

Summary
Problem models and exception factories src/Model/ProblemDetails.php, src/Model/ProblemDetailsInvalidRequestBody.php, src/Model/Violation.php, src/Exception/ApiProblemException.php, tests/Unit/Exception/ApiProblemExceptionTest.php
Problem models use readonly properties, and invalid-request problems and violations have updated fields and schemas. ApiProblemException wraps a ProblemDetails object, adds fromStatus() and conflict(), and uses the invalid-request subtype when violations are present.
Exception and violation mapping src/Exception/ViolationMapper.php, src/Exception/DefaultExceptionToApiProblemTransformer.php, tests/Unit/Exception/*
ViolationMapper maps Symfony and OpenAPI validation failures. The transformer uses mapped violations, includes exception messages only in debug mode, and maps HTTP exceptions with status codes of 400 or higher.
Problem response serialization and wiring src/Serializer/Normalizer/*, src/EventSubscriber/ApiExceptionSubscriber.php, config/serializer.php, config/subscribers.php, tests/Unit/EventSubscriber/*, tests/Unit/Serializer/Normalizer/*, tests/Functional/BundleInitializationTest.php
ApiProblemNormalizer serializes non-null problem members and public subclass properties. The subscriber uses the normalizer and enables invalid-UTF-8 substitution when encoding responses. The constraint-violation normalizers and custom problem serializer service are removed.

Some valid 400 responses do not match the published API schema. Correct the component before merging if clients rely on schema validation; otherwise this is a bounded documentation-contract risk.
