Device migration

Depending on your setup there are few options to migrate your data between devices.

First of all you need another device bought or built.

Your have activated and using external usb hard disk (recommend)

• Upgrade all the installed apps and system.

• Backup all the installed apps.

• Detach USB disk.

• Attach your USB disk to the new device.

• Activate your disk in Settings - Storage (do not "Format", in order to preserve your data)

• Install your apps. They will detect your existing data.

• Restore your app backups.

• Recreate your users with Users app. Users will automatically see their data in apps if their account names are the same as before the migration.

Using internal disk only (not recommended)

1. Manually copy /data dir to your new device.
2. Install apps. It is required to reinstall app after copying the data.
