Consolidate CLAUDE.md: shared rules move to polykybd-claude - #30
Conversation
The rules that applied to every PolyKybd repo (review, branching, mirrored files, releases, web-session limits) now live once in the new thpoll83/polykybd-claude repo, together with the nine formerly mirrored skills and verify-security-finding. This CLAUDE.md keeps only the rules specific to this repo, each with a link to the doc that holds the detail. Content found only in CLAUDE.md was moved verbatim into the linked docs before shortening. A token-retention check (every backticked name, PR number, date and measured value of the old file found in the new CLAUDE.md, the docs or polykybd-claude) was run on the result; the remaining misses are deliberate corrections of stale claims. The old file is kept verbatim in polykybd-claude/docs/archive/. wincompose: 25.6 KB -> 6.0 KB. Notes moved to docs/ (memory, wpf-ui, translations, build-and-review) and RELEASE.md. CodeRabbit silence is the org-wide auto-review setting, not the 10-star threshold. The forked session-retro skill copy is deleted (the shared one is newer). There was a problem hiding this comment.
- [DOCS] CLAUDE.md slimmed: replaces the long single file with a short overview, a topic table pointing to docs, and condensed rules, pointing shared PolyKybd rules to the polykybd-claude repo.
- [DOCS] Notes relocated: moves build/review, memory, WPF-UI/themes and translations sections verbatim into new files under docs/, and the release background into RELEASE.md.
- [DOCS] CodeRabbit note corrected: the reviewer-silence explanation now attributes it to the org-wide auto-review setting, noting it was previously blamed on the 10-star threshold.
- [CHORE] session-retro skill removed: deletes the local .claude/skills/session-retro/SKILL.md, which now lives in the shared polykybd-claude repo.
- This PR isn't getting a full Revix review right now — reviews are free for open-source projects but limited to a few a day, and this organization has already used today's. Reviews resume on Oct 11 at 00:00 UTC.

The shared rules and the
session-retroskill now live inthpoll83/polykybd-claude. The deleted copy here was an older fork of it. CLAUDE.md: 25.6 KB → 6.0 KB.docs/(build-and-review.md,memory.md,wpf-ui.md,translations.md). The release background moved toRELEASE.md.Docs only, so a green board here means it compiles.
