🧪 Improve Test Coverage for Engine.greedyNextToken#24
Conversation
This commit adds a test for the `decodeStep` function and significantly expands the existing tests for `Engine.greedyNextToken` in `echo-core-zig/src/inference/engine.zig`. We now explicitly test how `greedyNextToken` handles situations like all negative logits and ties. Co-authored-by: ulac000000 <132948319+ulac000000@users.noreply.github.com>

🎯 What: The testing gap addressed was that
Engine.greedyNextTokenand the closely relateddecodeSteplacked comprehensive tests or explicit edge-case handling guarantees in the testing suite.📊 Coverage:
Engine.greedyNextTokenis now tested against ties and all negative logits.decodeStepis also tested to ensure it returns an array matching the vocab_size.✨ Result: Test coverage for
echo-core-zig/src/inference/engine.zigis improved and we've verified it manually using a standalone test context to prevent build regressions.PR created automatically by Jules for task 13390554028346578525 started by @ulac000000
