Closes #141.

Yaesu C4FM radios have two digital voice modes, DN and VW. The library only had YSF, which the FTM-300 and FT5D drivers write as DN, so there was no way to program a VW channel.

Changes

  • New mode YSF-VW. YSF keeps meaning DN. YSF-VW appears in the mode list and zone sort order. Export sends it only to Fusion-capable radios: without that arm, an unrecognised mode falls through to analog_capable and would have gone to analog radios as plain FM.
  • FTM-300: VW is written as byte 11 = 0x60 (DN is 0x40). The FTM-300 gate no longer masks the VW bit, and it still matches all 119 channels of Tim's real backup.
  • FT5D: VW is written as digmode 3, with AMS auto-detect off, the same as DN.
  • CSV import: VW / YSF-VW now import as YSF-VW instead of being folded into DN.
  • RepeaterBook refresh: RepeaterBook can only say "Fusion", so a refresh keeps an operator's YSF-VW while the repeater is still listed as Fusion. If it is no longer listed as Fusion, RepeaterBook's new mode wins as before.

Hardware

  • FTM-300: confirmed on the radio. An app-written SD card was restored to Tim's FTM-300; memory 3 (0x60) showed VW and memory 21 (0x40) showed DN.
  • FT5D: not radio-checked. Digmode 3 = VW comes from CHIRP's FT1D-family map, and no FT5D backup on hand contains a VW channel.

Tests

800 Rust lib tests pass, including new ones for export fit, both encoders, CSV mode mapping and the refresh merge. The refresh test was checked to fail with the fix reverted.

Known, not changed here

CHIRP CSV export writes VW channels as FM. It already did that for YSF.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

YSF stays Fusion DN; the new YSF-VW mode is Fusion's full-rate voice mode.

- Mode list and zone order gain YSF-VW; export sends it only to Fusion
radios (an unknown mode would have fallen through to analog).
- FTM-300 writes VW as byte 11 = 0x60. Measured on the one VW channel in
Tim's backup and confirmed on the radio: an app-written card showed VW
for the 0x60 memory and DN for the 0x40 one. The gate no longer masks VW.
- FT5D writes VW as digmode 3 (CHIRP's ft1d map; not radio-checked).
- CSV import maps VW / YSF-VW to YSF-VW instead of folding it into DN.
- A RepeaterBook refresh keeps an operator's YSF-VW while RepeaterBook
still lists the machine as Fusion; RepeaterBook cannot tell DN from VW.
