I cannot login using xtool setup or xtool auth login. The first time i tried i got the code to appear on my phone (using option 1) but then when i typed in the code it closed immediately with error -80046. Now it doesnt even send the code anymore
Environment
Host OS (macOS/Linux/WSL): Windows + WSL (Ubuntu)
Host OS version: Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS
iOS device version: iPhone 14 Pro - iOS 18.6.2
Swift version: Swift version 6.4.1 (swift-6.4.1-RELEASE)
SDK version: Error: Swift SDK with ID darwin, host triple x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu, and target triple arm64-apple-ios is not currently installed.1 there is a possibility that this is related to my issue, or something else entirely (I ran swift sdk configure darwin arm64-apple-ios --show-configuration | grep -o 'iPhoneOS[0-9.]*\.sdk$').
Login mode: 1 (Password), regular Apple ID, not enrolled in the Developer Program
Device: iPhone 16 Pro on iOS 27, detected fine by xtool devices over USB
Steps
xtool auth login → choose 1 (Password)
Enter Apple ID and password → [Downloading libraries] 100%
The 2FA code arrives on the trusted device; I type it at the Code: prompt
Result
Error: This action cannot be completed at this time. (-80046)
Like the report above, it fails right after the 2FA code is submitted. I haven't retried more than once, to avoid locking the account. Happy to test a fix build.
I believe Apple now blocks the GrandSlam login APIs on devices that use Android client strings. The fix is to use Mac anisette data, eg nab138/iloader@9025975. Working on a fix: #380.
The good news is that this is also a better fix for #345 than the current "get 2FA code from elsewhere" workaround.
Confirmed fixed with 1.23.0 on Ubuntu 26.04 (x86_64 AppImage): login with password + 2FA works, and installing an unsigned Unity-built ipa to an iPhone 16 Pro on iOS 27 succeeded. Thanks!

This should be resolved in v1.23.0. Please update and let me know if that fixes the issue.
