Pre-v1 audit, stacked on #59 so only the new fixes appear in this diff. Three reviewable commits: (1) iterative Tarjan, Johnson traversal, and unblock propagation, fixing reproduced SystemStackError failures on 10,000-node graphs; adds deterministic mutual-reachability tests alongside the existing exhaustive cycle oracle; (2) skip symlinked source entries, reuse file-status metadata, and validate canonical FileInfo boundaries including incompatible-volume errors; (3) development/release metadata guards, CI/release wiring, updated contributor conventions, and a stable-release checklist inspired by the Python sibling. Local validation: 560 examples, zero failures, eight Windows-only symlink skips; 98.85% line / 90.88% branch coverage; 255 files lint-clean; 177 documentation pages validated; external RAG fixture 36/36; strict package build, installed-gem deep-chain check, and public API smoke tests pass. The native-link cases will also run on Linux CI. Three alternating 1,000-file benchmark pairs preserve all 4,001 graph edges and cache reuse; enumeration improves in each pair, but noisy wall times do not justify a fixed speedup promise. Exact measurements are in benchmark/README.md. Release preflight intentionally rejects the current unreleased changelog and old installation pin. No version bump, publication, protection bypass, or changes to sibling repositories. Merge the existing stack first, then retarget this PR to main.
