Reuse the host ~/.codex/auth.json for local Podman Codex sessions through per-session proxy secrets and proxy-only refresh state. Keep real OAuth tokens out of the agent container by injecting synthetic Codex auth, and clean up secrets and volumes across session lifecycle and proxy recreation. Configure the required ChatGPT domains and an HTTP/SSE Codex provider profile for the local MITM proxy, while preserving API-key and remote backend behavior. Add focused coverage and update the user documentation and CLI help.
Set features.apps = false in paude's synthetic ChatGPT OAuth profile to prevent the Apps MCP integration from attempting to connect inside the container. Preserve standalone MCP configuration and document the scoped behavior with regression coverage.
