feat: filter and group the stats overview by language, genre or author - #42
Readers can now ask the overview for a slice of their reading instead of the whole account.
language, genre and author narrow the digest to matching books. Language matches by main subtag, genre by one of the book's genres, author by part of the name, all case-insensitive. group_by=language or group_by=genre adds a groups object with one digest per value, capped at the 20 values with the most reading days.
A filtered digest only uses data tied to a book: sync days, reading sessions, finished counts, pages and the per-book stats. Device-wide totals that have no book attached are left out, since they can't be split by book. Without any of the new parameters the response is the same as before.
Merged copies count toward the book they were merged into, the same way the per-book stats endpoint folds them.
Tests cover each filter, combined filters, both groupings, case differences in genre names and bad parameters. docs/API.md describes the new parameters.
language, genre and author narrow the overview to matching books.
group_by=language|genre adds a digest per value (top 20 by reading days).
Without parameters the response is unchanged.
The stats overview endpoint now accepts language, genre, and author filters and can group results by language or genre. It builds per-book metrics from canonical book metadata, snapshots, and reading sessions. The API documentation and tests describe and exercise these options.

Summary
Filter and book data inputs src/routes/v1/stats.ts, docs/API.md
The route validates trimmed, case-insensitive filters and collects metadata, snapshot totals, and session data under canonical book documents. Language matching uses the main subtag; author matching uses a substring.
Digest and grouped responses src/routes/v1/stats.ts, test/stats-overview.test.ts, docs/API.md
The route calculates account-wide or filtered metrics and supports language or genre groups, capped at 20 and ordered by reading days, then name. Tests cover filters, groupings, and invalid requests. The documentation describes the query parameters and digest behavior.

Filtered stats for books with BookOrbit imports can underreport reading activity. This is a bounded accuracy issue to fix or explicitly accept before merging.

414-414: 🎯 Functional Correctness
The comment's premise is contradicted. Merging moves an alias's progress_log rows to the canonical document and deletes the alias's documents row. activityFor therefore passes canonical rows to computeActivity, so a merged copy's sync days, finished count, and pages already count toward the canonical book in filtered and grouped digests.

Merge imported BookOrbit time into filtered book totals.
Filtered and grouped overviews build books.time from device snapshots and reading_sessions, but they never call readBookorbitStats. This omits imported BookOrbit seconds, sessions, today_seconds, week_seconds, and their reading days.
Add imported BookOrbit data to the snapshot-side total before applying the existing Math.max against reading_sessions. Merge its daily allocations into perDay; forBooks already adds every perDay date to the reading-day set. This follows the existing unfiltered and per-book aggregation contract. Exported local sessions are already excluded by readBookorbitStats, so do not add imported totals after the session maximum.
