Confirmed working on Fedora 44 x86_64. Password authentication succeeded with the new Omnisette provider, without requiring SMS verification. After installing a full Darwin SDK, successfully built, signed, provisioned, and deployed a SwiftUI app to a physical iPhone 15 Pro over USB. Thanks for the fix! 🐧 |
Port xtool's "gsa: use macOS Omnisette" fix (xtool-org/xtool#380). Since 2026-10 Apple's GSA rejects Android-identifying clients (-80046), so the local Android ADI libraries can no longer log in; Mac anisette is the working identity. - Add OmnisetteAnisetteProvider implementing the v3 Omnisette protocol (client_info, provisioning WebSocket handshake, get_headers), driving Apple's midStart/midFinish plist dance as before. Default server https://mac-ani.jkcoxson.com, matching xtool; provider ID "mac-omnisette". - AnisetteState gains adiPb/providerId; a state provisioned by the old Android backend is reset and reprovisioned automatically. - xcross auth and the signing session resolver use the new provider; --adi-library-dir, ADI library fetching and the ABI host gate are removed. Saved sessions keep loading their legacy adiLibraryDirectory but no longer write it. - GrandSlam two-factor requests send the akd User-Agent instead of the Dart default, and the sign-in warning explains the virtual Mac and the third-party anisette service. Verified against the live servers with dummy credentials: endpoint lookup, omnisette provisioning and the SRP login all succeed; Apple answers -20970 (bad credentials) as expected.

) * feat(auth): switch Apple ID login to remote Omnisette Mac anisette Port xtool's "gsa: use macOS Omnisette" fix (xtool-org/xtool#380). Verified against the live servers with dummy credentials: endpoint lookup, omnisette provisioning and the SRP login all succeed; Apple answers -20970 (bad credentials) as expected. * feat(auth): dual-way anisette - local Android ADI default, opt-in remote Omnisette Per the #139 review: the remote-only switch made every Apple ID login and signing run depend on one hardcoded third-party server (mac-ani.jkcoxson.com) with no way to change it. Go dual-way instead: - Restore the local Android ADI path as the default for 'xcross auth': --adi-library-dir, APK library fetching, and the ABI host gate are back, exactly as before the remote switch. - Add --anisette-url / XCROSS_ANISETTE_URL to sign in through any remote omnisette-server v3 deployment instead - self-hosted or public. The flag wins over the environment variable; both are validated as http(s) URLs and mutually exclusive with --adi-library-dir. The chosen URL is shown in the sign-in heads-up. - GrandSlamSession records the anisette backend (anisetteProvider + anisetteUrl) and writes adiLibraryDirectory again for local sessions. The signing session resolver rebuilds the provider the session was provisioned with; legacy sessions are classified by directory presence, and XCROSS_ANISETTE_URL can redirect a remote session to a new server URL at signing time. - AnisetteState records anisetteServer alongside providerId; switching backends or servers resets provisioning automatically in both directions (adi.pb never transfers between backends or servers). - Restore the deleted auth_adi tests and add coverage for the mode choice, the resolver selection, and the state resets. --------- Co-authored-by: ray2ex <ray2ex@github.com>

What does this PR do?
Fixes #378, solving error -80046. Seems Apple now blocks Android-identifying clients from using gsa (at least the 2fa bits). Use Mac Anisette instead. cf nab138/iloader@9025975
Alas, this does mean we have to retire xadi and switch back to Omnisette.
